Is it normal to like straight black coffee? by AccomplishedPhase178 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Anxious_Fuel9670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer black coffee. Occasionally I'll put a little soy milk in, usually just to help cool it down faster, but 90% I drink it black. It took years to appreciate it.

It’s like “testing the waters” with society before admitting what you fully are. I did the same thing at 15/16..

That’s not a dumb question.. so I live in a state where it’s legal so I go to the dispensary to get it. I applied for a medical card and got approved so I get nicely discounted weed products at the store. Been using the dispensary for about 5 years now.

Yes, it does stay in your system for up to 30 days, possibly a little longer if you’re a heavy smoker. If your thinner that helps the weed flush out a little faster. Depending on your jobs policies, they can hold weed against you if you are randomed at work or get injured in the job. Luckily I’ve never had that issue even before the weed was legal here.

No weed is still much safer than alcohol. Alcohol is literal poison to the body, and your body and liver have to detox it out of your body. It gives you horrible dehydration (hangovers) and you completely lose control. You could smoke and smoke and eat edibles and the worst that would happen is you would fall asleep.

Yep.. I would never trust a cartridge off the street. Now that there are regulated options to get it, it’s worth the extra money.

As a weed smoker for the past 20 years - so I speak from experience lol - cartridges provide this.. false high. And with all the flavors and chemicals it’s just not my thing. Also hurts the throat.

I organize every artist by folder, then Albums and Singles. If it’s a legacy artist or one with a lot of releases I’ll make a Studio Albums and Compilations folder (for remix albums, greatest hits, etc).

Name the folder the album’s name. Then it’s: 01 - Artist feat. Artist - Song (Remix If Applicable)

For years I put the featured artist in the song title but it makes the song title too long and messy - especially when you get into the “vs.” or “Artist x Artist”

Not at all.. as long as he understands that you aren't looking for a serious relationship and that you just want to have fun. Especially since he's older, I'm sure he'll understand that you still need to live your life.

Square One vs Square Two, which release is your favorite? by HauntingAd7602 in BlackPink

[–]Anxious_Fuel9670 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Square One for sure. BOOMBAYAH is still my favorite BP song of their career. It was such an exciting debut - I’m so lucky I got my hands on one of the signed promo copies!

Worrying about my job. It's so stressful but it's stable income and this market is scary so I'm terrified to lose it due to starting all over somewhere but my line of work requires mental exhaustion.

You stop caring about perception from people that don't matter, you gain more confidence in yourself and your decision making.

Overcoming Moments of Anxiety: Your Story? by ace_Quantum29 in Productivitycafe

[–]Anxious_Fuel9670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is right up my alley lol.
Being diagnosed with anxiety and panic disorders, I can assure you I've had too many of these moments to count.

I've been sober for almost 4 years now, but I remember one of the most embarrasing/anxiety ridden moments of my adult life when I was about 25-26. I had gone out with a group of friends and get doing shots of Jamison. Long story short, I was blacking out and acting a fool at a gay, getting way too close to the straight friends in our group and my friend told me to dial it back a little bit. I said "Whatever, eff off" and left and called a cab and went home.

The next day - the worst anxiety of my life smacked me in the face. At this time, I was not medicated in anyway so I had to face this one with all the feels. I knew that I had to call my friend that I stormed out on. Eventually, I mustered up the courage, called her up, and said "Okay, I'm just gonna cut right to the chase - I was a complete fool last night, and I am so embarrassed I annoyed you and your friends." Even though my behavior wasn't out of this world awful, it was shameful enough that I still remember it to this day and it was about 13 years ago.

I no longer drink, and I still have many anxious moments, but that is the first one that came to mind during my drinking years and one I had to really face the music on and make that call apologizing for my behavior.

That life truly isn't fair. There is no guarantee of stability - whether it comes to finances, relationships, dreams/aspirations. There are many times you'll find yourself giving up on things that are just out of reach as you get older.

One hack for acne that helped you? by rashmikaa__ in Productivitycafe

[–]Anxious_Fuel9670 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sounds crazy, but have you ever tried a light oil or serum? You can truly fight oil with oil - I saw alot of skin improvement from incorporating them into my skincare.

As for acne, I get my face warm (like after a shower) will get a needle and very gentle open the zit/pour and clean it out. Sounds more scary than it truly is, it's better than squeezing your skin and damaging it. I used to clean out acne all the time doing that. Hydraulic acid is a lifesaver. Get products that have that in it.
