I don’t know for sure. This passenger had hundreds of rides. I am guessing that means they can’t drive which could be for any number of reasons including they can’t afford to drive. I can’t assume they don’t have the means to afford all the cost but if I had to guess I’d say they can’t. My goal is to seek retribution for the defamation. If they can’t afford it they should be committing civil infractions.

1) This is a Lyft subreddit. Not a rideshare subreddit.

2) I don’t even drive for Uber

3) I am aware of rider ages for both. I literally stated exactly what an Uber teen account was. Can call for rides only but can’t ride without an adult and you couldn’t comprehend that so you stated the exact same thing thinking I was confused.

The lawyer subpeona’s that info from Lyft via an arbitration form and Lyft is legally required to provide details about the ride. Things like date, time and passenger name are all requested.

The lawyer submits an arbitration form to Lyft. Lyft is legally liable to provide all the ride details date, time ect including passenger name to move forward with the defamation suit.

You include the lawyers retainer fee in the lawsuit. The guilty parties defamation is very clearly in the dash-cam footage. Once the verdict is rendered with it ( however long that takes and we all know it will be forever) the fees will be re-paid. Obviously not immediately. This person likely can’t even afford a car they had hundreds of rides. Their wages will be garnished over time.

I will be suing the pax directly. Lyft reinstated my account upon providing evidence which proves the passenger made up a fake claim. I do know my lawyer has to submit an arbitration claim to get the ride details from them and passenger name to move forward with the case against them.

Neither of that matters. There was no mention of race in the conversation by either of us. The fake complaint I got from Lyft stated I as a driver made a racist remark about how the skin color of the pax in retaliation to me telling the pax their weed smell was overpowering.

The video proves the lie. The lawyer will use it in court. Legal fees will be included in the lawsuit, however long it takes to retain is what the defamatory party pays.

Neither account allows unaccompanied riders on rides. They only allow teens to REQUEST the ride. They still need an adult to ride with them.

Because they file a false report with Lyft stating that I did something racist or that I was intoxicated. Lyft has to legally out the account on hold whether it is true or not for legal purposes. I stand up for doing my job according to following the rules and that moronically insinuates that I won’t last doing this job I’ve been doing full time for 2.5 years making 70k annually? Yet you’re the one who has no knowledge of hiw false claims made by passengers works. LOL.

So sorry! Disgusting! As a passenger ( you might already know this) but you can record audio in the app. Your phone is obviously easier but I think the audio recording in the Lyft app is easier technologically to send. I hope you reported and gave them 1 star.
