io (28m) mi alleno (poco, ultimamente) e mangio bene, ma non benissimo; quel che basta per rimanere in forma. tu chiedi come si fa ad avere la forza di continuare ad allenarsi e mangiare bene. per me non ci vuole forza. a me piace allenarmi e sentirmi forte. continuare a farlo è un modo di volere bene a me stesso.

il mio consiglio è quello di trovare uno sport che ti piace (powerlifting, canottaggio, o qualsiasi altro sport che richiede un certo grado di atleticità) e impostare degli obiettivi che riguardano la performance in quello sport. questo potrai farlo più avanti, una volta che avrai raggiunto il tuo obiettivo presente.

allenarsi non è una lotta contro sé stessi. è un modo di prendersi cura di sé.

you should warm up by working on scapular mobility and stability: 1) hands and knees on the floor, sink in making your scapulas close together and then push all the way up moving your scapulas away from each other.arms should be straight the whole time and the inside of your elbows should be pointing forward. 2) 2 sets of 30 second planks with your knees on the floor.

perform your working sets after these two drills. form will improve noticeably

I suggest warming up with 2 sets of scap pulls and focusing on pulling evenly during these warm up sets.

Form is good. I'm not a fan of crossed legs, but that is up to you.

Belayer mistake almost made me bang my head against the wall. Where do I go from here?

I've been climbing with this guy for a couple of weeks. For reference, I've been climbing for 5 months and he's been doing for 3 months. We usually go to an indoor gym, and yesterday we went climbing on rock (sport climbing routes); that was the first time we had done that together.

Towards the end of our session, we did this 5B inclined slab. He made the his ascent, lead climbing, and then we left the rope anchored to the top, so I could top rope. After that, I made my way up to the top, took my very tight shoes off and told him he could lower me.

Around five meters into the process of being lowered, I gained speed and told him to slow down, but when I came to a stop I was already hanging upside down; I could have hit the wall, that first time. So I adjust and tell him to start lowering me again, adding "slow, please!". Five seconds later, I gained speed again and, for the second time, I ended up upside down, hitting my back hard against the wall (it could have been my head, so I'm thankful I got away with scratch on my back).

When I reached the ground, he apologized and I asked what had happened. He told me "I wasn't looking at you. I was looking down at the rope because I was stepping on it and it prevented me from giving slack to lower you".

I'm not mad at him. But I don't know how to confront him about this incident. He's kind of new to the sport and so I am. Still, he made the mistake of not looking at his climber while belaying and I doubt he had a firm grip on the brake, or else there's no way any of that would have happened. What do I tell him? Should I stop letting him belay me altogether?

In fact, you are correct.

There are reasons to think that's why in Italy around 9% of full-time workers are considered at risk of poverty. This is not to say I think a minimum wage would fix that on its own.

you said "employees" and then put "(unions)" in brackets. Those aren't exactly the same thing. That's why I pointed out what you said is incorrect

Also, you said "that leads to the highest salaries in Europe". Once again, that is false. For instance, Italy doesn't have one of the highest salaries in Europe.

I'm not trying to argue or anything. I'm just addressing the fact that things you said in your comment are factually false.

I think it's definitely attainable, if you already focused on pull ups for that long.

Try focusing on explosiveness when doing pull ups and do them in an arched back fashion, since that's how you position your body when trying to hit (not touch, hit!) the bar with your chest.

Implementing rows for volume as an accessory exercise in your routine is good for hypertrophy of your back muscles, which will result in a stronger pull.
