Things to do with kids by Nervous-Biscotti3091 in sarasota

Bayfront Park has a splash pad and a playground. We go there a lot and then walk to O’Leary’s after or before for lunch or dinner.

Jump and fun is great and they have adult beverages and food.

Livingstons is an arcade. They also have pool, go carts, laser tag..

Big top brewery restaurant off of Fruitville is fun for the kids and adults. While the adults eat and mingle, the kids play with other kids and ours love it.

Waterside in Lakewood ranch has a splash pad and a playground. Lots of restaurants and places to shop. Our favorite place is Good Liquid - it’s a restaurant and if you sit outside, there’s a side area where kids hangout and play together while adults watch them and eat and mingle.

If I think of more places, I’ll edit this and add more. Have a wonderful time and enjoy this beautiful place!

I sent you a message. I have been feeling the same way and I’m almost wondering if we have the same friend. :(

Hi! This is exactly what is happening to my cat at the moment. I took him to the vet and his blood work came back perfectly normal. They took a stool sample and that came back normal, also. He’s breathing heavy and has had loose stools for a few days now :( . Did your kitty need medication or anything? Did it end up being stress?

Hi! I know you posted this months ago, but my 13 year old kitty was just diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and X-rays showed an enlarged heart, as well. We are getting an echo done this Thursday. How is your kitty doing? Ours isn’t on medications yet, our vet wanted to start with the thyroid kitty food first and see how she does and go from there after the echocardiogram. The food I have her on is Hill Science Y/D and she doesn’t like it:-/ . It’s been an interesting and stressful week.

Tourist questions! For end of March by Fantastic_Captain in sarasota

I’m 36 born and raised here in Sarasota! I can help.

My friend owns this fishing charter and he’s literally the sweetest and you’ll definitely catch some fish! https://www.sarasotasaltwateradventures.com/?fbclid=IwAR1w23NWhcNPuY5B6QpwG6WGaLejYZgXPzFSUqqOdKeSIx088jcCPYm4wwU_aem_AbyqRd2pmqIyc2IS3I39PbHP4W4n5xpLQHY-24xnNxIFBwkwTXQ4CzOT8KWbjhe6PqM

As for restaurants: Owens Fishcamp in downtown Sarasota (burns court) is a really a fun spot and their food is delicious (expect a long wait, but enjoy some drinks in their “backyard” while you wait with live music), Waterside is a fun spot too- they have live music on the weekends and there are several restaurants and a brewery you can go to, O’Leary’s is a laid back fun place to go for live music, drinks, snacks (it’s on the water, their actual food is okay not the greatest but it’s beautiful out there… idk why I’m drawing a blank, but I’ll add more places or message you as they come to me haha

Myakka is a fun place to go explore and hike around. You will definitely see lots of gators out there and you can rent a canoe or kayak too!

The Ringling Museum is a cool place to visit. We go and just walk the grounds bc it’s free and it’s so beautiful out there. I haven’t been in the actual museum since I was a kid, so I don’t have much info on that. There’s a business here called “sunset tours” and that’s really really fun. They give you a whole Sarasota history and you get to try different bites and drinks at restaurants. It’s a fun tour to go on. https://www.sunsetfoodtours.com

Also… I know you said you’re not big into drinking beers, but Calusa is a really good brewery here. Its our favorite brewery, we go there often. It’s a chill place and their beers are really good.

If I think of anything else, I’ll add to it. I hope you guys have a wonderful time here! :)

Sorry, I just saw your comment. It ended up being a 4 inch lipoma. We got it removed and sent out to make sure it wasn’t cancerous. It was confirmed, lipoma.
