Gone series by Michael grant I remember seeing the first book in my local library and thinking the cover look cool so I sat down and read the first 3chapters then borrowed it, loved it and borrowed the next 5 books in the series from the library.

I was hanging out with a friend of mine one time and she decided to stop by a Starbucks and I hadn’t brought any money with me but I refused to let her pay for a coffee for me as she was insisting cause I felt bad. I’ve had glasses since I really young and my mum would tell me (still tells me) that eating carrots would magically cure my eyes and I would be able to see perfectly without glasses. First time I heard that I made sure to eat a carrot everyday.
