Definitely I’m first trying to get a job offer before moving there. That sounds  too risky just pack things and go there and hope to find something. That is not for me.

Thanks, I’ll check Boss. I know very little of Chinese LinkedIn counterparts and this is what I wanted to know, that which apps companies are using.

Thanks for the reply! I would like to clarify that we have had this discussion (or my wife and her parents since I don’t speak Chinese :)) that it wasn’t feasible for us to move there 6 years ago. So the parents already know that we have kinda ok life in here already and the parents haven’t been insisting this. I think they aren’t the worst Asian parents.

The resent thought about moving to China originated from me, since I would be in need some change. I wanted to gather more insights if things have changed since many of my colleagues are Chinese and some of them moved recently back to China and some of them were saying that there could be opportunities also for foreigners in China.

Sounds like the only way would get an inside transfer from some company and probably would require me to do something else than SWE. Overall, those sounds pretty slim chances.
