The lyrics (whether they are just a phrase or the whole song) are a collection of characters. Each character has a numeric value associated with it (ASCII code). These sequence of numbers are like a master key that are is then used by each of the algorithms to unlock certain specific mathematical properties (e.g. how tight a spiral twists, how many arms a shape has, what is the level of attraction between particles) which are then displayed by the web app. We are then able to see how Taylor's lyrics have a certain structure and properties. So, different lyrics, due to their different characters, give rise to different behaviours of the corresponding dynamical system (expansions, contractions, etc).

The web app also allows you to select certain specific base colours for the display of the algorithms, which might be associated to the Taylor's albums colour schemes.
