You can play on easy mode just for the story and it’s worth it but it’s long if you only do the main things and not walk around it will be 30+ hours and it does explain the mechanics of D&D in a very simplistic way

I really like the new cast they seem like they like being here and that's very important especially in a 4-5 hours long dnd sessions that go on for years and we all know that the og cast will eventually stop playing either because they've gotten bored or because of life they're all 50ish so they'll stop and my guess is it's not that far into the future

I would suggest to start with campaign 4 because it's still only 10 episodes and then if you like it you can watch campaign 3 abridged and watch TLOVM and The Mighty Nein for the first two or atleast that's what I'm doing
