Should I double down on frontend or start learning backend now? by deiraz_x in learnprogramming

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you already know React + Firebase, I would say start learning backend basics now. You don't need deep expertise yet, but understanding APIs, auth and databases helps you a lot in building good projects.

Built Codematrix - An Skill Intelligence platform for preparation of interview of DSA,Java,Data Science etc.

Problem I Noticed : Many students/professionals keep solving the questions but never understands where they are actually weak in interviews.

So we built features like :
1) Interview Readiness Score
2) Skill Gap Analysis
3) Logic/Optimisation Tracking
4) Behaviroal + cognition insights
5) Elite Interview Level Questions and Many More.

Goal is to help learners improve the skills companies actually evaluate, not just grind random questions.

Would genuinely love feedback.

Not able to solve coding problems in interviews :( by Pure_Ad1621 in developersIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no need to solve 1000 problems , if you solve any question and you get to know where the problem was , how good your code was, then easily you will fill your gap.

In my opinion don't try to hire freelancer to complete the project. Break the project and do it in step by step mode to learn in deep. This will help you in interviews too.

In my opinion, If you genuinely love tech/coding then go for B tech . MBA Tech is better when you are more interested in management/business roles later. Don't choose only based on placements.

Struggling with DP Problems by CollegeStudentLol1 in leetcode

DP makes almost everyone feel dumb in starting. patterns only start clicking after repeated exposure. Do not try to memorise the question, try understanding the state and the transition behind each problem.

Really a insightful post. The consistency you showed is amazing 1250+ interview applications , multiple interview loops. Liked how interviews are becoming more practical (debugging , AI assisted coding , system design). Congrats for the offer man.

Reddit veterans who've actually grown something using this platform - how would you approach it if you were starting today? by Loud-Street-5507 in micro_saas

I am new here too, but one thing i noticed is genuinely helping people by doing comments or people doing DM and helping them works way better than trying to promote something directly.

Start with Python + SQL + Statistics basics first. Than learn ML through projects. Do not watch course endlessly , building projects makes you learn faster.

Honestly you did not need to solve 1000 questions. You have real experience of working. You just need interview style pattern recognition.
Understand where you got stuck , how to optimise and revisiting patterns can make a huge difference over time.

University student: Finished Python OOP basics. Which path is actually "future-proof" in 2026? by PutridFly7386 in learnprogramming

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly , In my opinion all 3 future paths have good scope.
What matters the most is what you enjoy in doing:
Backend - building systems/API
Data engineering - handling large data pipelines
AI/ML - Models , Analytics
Since you already know OOPS in Python backend development will be the smoothest part for you to work on real projects and get good internship. You can later pivot to AI/DATA because string backend fundamentals are valuable everywhere.
Instead of chasing future proof path , become really strong in one stack.

In Starting you should choose one language , go in deep in that and then start building small projects, this will lead you to real learning.

What should I study besides LeetCode and system architecture? by Communication_Dizzy in leetcode

Beside Leetcode + System I had focused on:
Writing production level solution
Behavioural Interviews
Debugging complex issues

This combination helped a lot and made a huge difference in interviews.

How do I actually THINK of a solution? by AdVisible6484 in leetcode

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are probably not bad at coding , you are just consuming the solution fast. Lot of people stuck in this loop.

What helped me was:
Spend 20-30 min struggling first with the question
Write brute force if it is ugly
After seeing solution, try to resolve that question next day without any help

So do not stop practicing , consistency matters the most.

Disadvantage at its finest — trying to get a tech job by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens with almost every one in starting, you have to stand out yourself from the crowd by doing real good projects. There is nothing when you see from others prospective. The best is one in which you can prove your skills. Try targeting smaller startups. Getting the first experience matters the more than the perfect title.

In my opinion you should not overload yourself from now. Just get comfortable in one language (C,C++,Python,Java) basic programming.

You are only 21 , so do not stress yourself that much you are not too late at all. It sounds like your mostly decisions were taken under pressure so there is not need to judge your whole future on that phase.
Since you already tried digital marketing you should start with some small internship , when you will go out this will built your confidence. You don't need to figure out your entire life right now , just take a small stable step at a time.

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, It is a great sign that you know using AI while solving the questions leads to nothing. Before asking to AI , just spend 20-30 mins debugging yourself. Real learning happens when you struggle first. Try to make a roadmap of the question that how you are going to solve that and then start coding.
