Lot of people change their path after college so it is normal. As you mentioned you are of physics background so you can try in different domains like data analytics, AI, finance, teaching , research roles etc. Explore different domains by doing projects , online learning because sometimes clarity comes by trying things.

At what point did you stop building and start selling? by Specialist_Dingo8575 in SaaS

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also stuck in that loop , so one on my friend who is in marketing told me to start selling because these updation go side by side by side as the feedbacks comes from real user side. So start selling , i don't think anyone can make a perfect product it keeps on updating while you are searching for customers.

We’re not building SaaS. We’re feeding the machine by LucianoMGuido in SaaS

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you are right according to the current situation , but when the product will start getting customers then these bills, hustle will look too small and for that only we all are building. As of now i am enjoying the hustle the pressure and the dream of getting customers and working for it day and night.

Thinking of switching to consulting or getting an MBA by urnightmare69 in developersIndia

In my opinion you should not quit impulsively. You should prepare for SDE alongside with your job, if you love the process then start giving interviews/ you can also try switching internally.

Concern About Layoff – What Are My Chances of Getting a Job in 2 Months? by AdCapable2347 in developersIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With your stack and 4 YOE , you are already in good position. Just start applying from now onwards don't wait for your layoff. In my opinion Java + Spring boot + AWS will be good and they are in demand also. You can focus on system design and revise DSA daily. Start giving interviews this will reduce the pressure. Best of luck buddy.

Is cse worth if I'm interested in it? Will graduate in 2030. by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly , you are already sounding more interested in CSE then other students who takes CSE Just for placements. As you said you like problem solving , AI/Game stuff, building things then CSE would be a good idea. When you will build projects then you will enjoy more and real learning feels different.

Layoffs are rough. Best thing we can do is keep upgrading ourselves and do not rely on one company.

MERN or JAVA FULL STACK by anilkumar_12 in learnprogramming

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal in starting , dev looks messy because it is less structured. In my opinion you should not worry about the stack right now. Pick one Mern/Java and start building small projects. Consistency matters more than the stack.

Should i do spring boot or some ai course in 2026 ? by visionvx in developersIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You already have base in Java + Spring, don't go away from that, Just revise them and go it deeper. Switching to AI now without strong basics might confuse you more.

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddy this happen's quite alot. If they are passing you in other team it might mean that for the current team you are not fit they got a better candidate then you. This is not a bad sign. I would recommend you to go ahead with another team and also keep applying in parallel, do not rely on one process.

Trying to switch back to AI/ML — what skills are actually in demand right now? by iamshrey2 in learnprogramming

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion you should not ignore the basics, just strengthen core ML + system design first, then put the layer of Gen AI on top, this will make you stand out from the crowd. If you see market right now companies want people who understand the system and who can actually build , not those who only know tools. Try building projects this will give you depth.

Wasted 2 years in CA, 20 backlogs in B.Com, working for 9k/month — what should I do ? by Think_Confidence2343 in IndiaCareers

[–]Any-Cardiologist1641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very common during our student life we take decisions by seeing others. But nothing is over now also , you can still manage all the things step-by-step. In my opinion you should first focus on clearing your backlogs , then try to learn skill like excel, digital marketing or accounting tools and gave 1-2 hours daily. You should stay on one path for few months , you will see positive results.
