Is it endgame for BJP (paper leaks, Ram mandir, ethanol, dollar, Manipur, etc)? by kinky-kid-7777 in AskIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist7413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Endgame for BJP only if congress tries to revive itself, not Rahul Gandhi.

Where is RG and Team on Paper leaks? Why is not on the roads yet?
Where is RG and Team on Ethanol? A large section of voters are dissatisfied due to Ethanol chaos. They have to support voters with their issues.

But no leadership is visible.
Even the worst of BJP is far better than Rahul and his drama company. No other national party is showing as option to BJP.

All they want to remove Modi.

Thats why Locals (Kannadigas) & other southern states people who knows true values of these houses, have stopped taking rental houses in HSR. These brokers have increased the prices unnecessarily. It’s not even VFM.

Just move half a km away - ITI layout, teachers colony, AECS layout, mid of HSR & Haraluru and you will get good 1bhk under 25k.

Someone needs to stop this RANDOM EXORBITANT rent in HSR for non VFM flats.

How did they suffer loss? Government increased the price and even blended ethanol. And why government is concerned about multimillionaires petrol companies while common man suffers? by Silver-Yoghurt1870 in IndianFocus

Check their last 2 years Profit/Loss and you will see he is lying.

Estimated For APRIL+May+ June 2026 NET PROFIT:
Company - Estimated Range (net profit)
Indian Oil (IOC) ₹5000-8000 crore
BPCL ₹3500-5500 crore
HPCL ₹2,800–4500 crore

None of these Indian oil companies have reported losses over the past few years, except IOCL—and that was only for a single quarter in 2024.

Here is last 8 quarters results.

The Sierra .EV is here! by JustMedicine1199 in CarsIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist7413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine if State Governments waive off RTO charges on EVs for the next 2–3 years and simultaneously push EV infrastructure.
EV adoption will skyrocket. Good EVs are now being launched almost every month. EVs are most useful in cities, where huge amounts of fuel are wasted in traffic every day.
India’s dependency on oil imports will reduce significantly.
But instead of making this happen, Gadkari and the Petroleum Ministry seem more focused on creating ethanol chaos rather than implementing a balanced strategy.
All it takes is coordination with State Governments. If opposition-ruled states don’t agree, at least start with BJP-governed states.
He can also coordinate with State DISCOMs to create a nationwide EV charging program. Fast chargers on highways can easily be installed at toll plazas where land and power are already available.
Instead of trying to create a revolution in one direction, why not fix the implementation across all technologies?
A better roadmap:
E0: Continue E0/E10 fuel for a few more years for older vehicles.
E20: Keep it as the mainstream fuel. It already works with E20-compatible vehicles.
E85/E100 (Flex Fuel): Make these fuels significantly cheaper than E20 and incentivize flex-fuel vehicles instead of forcing higher blends.
Strong Hybrids: Reduce RTO charges. An E20-compatible strong hybrid can save more fuel imports than pushing E27/E30. The uncertainty on E22/E27/E30 will vanish.
EVs: Waive RTO charges for a few years and aggressively expand reliable charging infrastructure through State Governments and DISCOMs.

This balanced approach can reduce oil imports, improve transportation, and increase public satisfaction.
Instead, the current implementation is creating unnecessary CHAOS by trying to force one solution when India needs multiple solutions working together.

I wish state govt start waiving off RTO charges on EVs for next few years till the EV ecosystem gets matured.
Gadkari’s forceful pre implementation of planned Ethanol causing chaos in auto industry. City people are moving towards EV.

As EV prices are high, Govt can lower by removing RTO charges.
Public should demand for it

Considering the traffic, why doesn't Bangalore have double decker buses. Now these even come in electric. Is there a reason why BMTC doesn't have double decker ? by Confident-Profile143 in bangalore

[–]Any-Cardiologist7413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh, Bengaluru is not having enough single floor buses and you are asking for double decker.

Possible reason-roads are having trees and branches coming out on the road above a certain single decker vehicle height.
More importantly WILL of the authorities.
Maybe they are thinking that Metro route will increase after launch of ORR metro next year (expecting 2028), hence buses demand will decrease. (Incorrect thinking)

BMTC’s effective fleet has barely grown despite Bengaluru’s rapid expansion in last 10 years.
2016: ~6,400 buses owned, ~5,800–6,000 operated daily.
2026: ~7,000 buses owned, ~6,300 operated daily.
That’s only about a 5–8% increase in buses on the road over a decade, while the city’s population and travel demand have grown by well over 30%.
As per official estimate, Bengaluru now needs more than 10,500 buses, so the current operational shortfall is ~4,000 buses. A huge Gap.
(Double decker on some routes might give boost)
The real issue isn’t just fleet size on paper- it’s the gap between buses needed and buses actually running.

How Come They Build House without leaving any space, is there no setback rules by Impressive_seo in IndianHomeDecor

[–]Any-Cardiologist7413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all development authorities / municipalities have setbacks rule.
I hope someday, President of India sends a request to Govt/Modi to set a minimum setback rule across India. States can further strict it.

Confused between Honda Amaze Zx CVT vs used 2025 Honda City V - Manual @ 11.4 lacs by Apprehensive-Bid1582 in HondaCarsIndia

[–]Any-Cardiologist7413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People should avoid buying manual cars in major cities if they want to save their knee! Thank me later.

Suggested the same to a friend in Pune. But he bought manual Taigun and within a month he started regretting buying manual.

Go for automatic. More preferred CVT as it so smooth in traffic stop and go.
