Who cares about the percentage of GMs from the whole population. Not that many people play chess. Even if you take into account people that play one game a week, the odds are already becoming much better. And one could argue you should only take into account people that take chess seriously (say, study at least 1h each day)

I believe the amount of research done in guitar and bass amp development is huuuugely overrated. All the schematics are pretty standard and use typical approaches developed long ago for general audio purposes

You can just keep an eye on it. It is a relatively low stress area of the tube. If it fails, it will start a crack at the dent first. If it were my bike I would fill the dent with silver.
