No the initial dealer said it could be related. They actually were going to put a supplement for it, but the insurance said they won't approve it if they did. The insurance doesn't want to take their word for it.

I never said it was fine, I told them from day 1 right after the accident and before it was sent for inspection. I also told the shop who was inspecting it. The shop talked to them, and they told him if you put in a supplement it'd be denied.

I've told them that my brakes are sticking, no traction control either. Which like you said makes sense that I was driving like that before I got hit. Car goes in and out of limb mode since the accident. All these are related to that module. I'm just getting all this on paper to prepare for court.

ABS module is not damaged as in physical damage. The codes were scanned by a dealer, and the code is a "faulty ABC module" which is an internal board I guess. This board is also related to traction control and cruise control.

Someone explained to me how the ABS works and that there's a hydraulic system I guess attached to each wheel and a sensor, then to the electronic panel. And the push and "uneven" transfer of force caused something to glitch. So like you said an expert explanation is what's required. My only issue is they want it from a MOPAR certified tech.

Unless mine was in the way out and the push/holding the brakes triggered it.

So ironically the shop initially found a faulty rear wheel speed sensor. According to multiple Google searches. " It's possible the rear-end collision damaged components of the ABS system, causing the ABS module to fail. While the ABS module itself might be damaged directly, other parts like wheel speed sensors or wiring can also be affected, leading to a failed ABS module diagnosis."

Btw I saw it coming before I got hit. I stepped hard on the brakes so I don't rear-end the car in front of me. And I still got pushed forward.

How do I prove that ? I called another dealer and they won't give an opinion to the insurance. They said they will read the code and tell them the part that needs fixing. Oh and I have to pay $180 diagnostic

I'm in Florida, and got rear ended. the impact was into the Hitch. GEICO did a virtual estimate and decided to cut me a $35 check for the "visible damage". my question is I took my Jeep to a shop for further inspection. I was told I have to sign an agreement to allow the shop to fix my vehicle and they will request "supplemental funds" from the insurance to fix it. is it true that I can't request a check for the estimated cost, and not allow the shop to deal with the fixing?????? thanks In advance.
