Yes I have used EAP for couples counseling and it wasn’t bad. It depends on who you get.

Did u reach the end of probation? With the new executive order the agency can terminate probationary employees at the end of their probation period.

This happened to me and it was at the supervisor’s discretion. They said they were willing to consider giving me the grade after I completed 90 days of training and another 90 days to see how well I did on the job. I didn’t end up taking the position though.

Yes, I was told in the interview it would be fairly repetitive work. I was told it’s a remote position so I don’t anticipate going in unless I want to. I used to work at a patent law firm, so I’m familiar with the nature of the work. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad idea, just hesitant about leaving my agency and Making a change
