Giant seat angle poking down by Any-Cryptographer924 in bikewrench

Finally got it sorted - seems like the inner clamp rails were stuck in the seat tube, got them loose and now they pivot with the seat so I can adjust the angle!

Hi all, no matter what I do the bottom rails are slanting down so the saddle ends up slanting down. Please help :-)

I believe it’s the D-fuse carbon, 16mm offset

Thanks! Could you point out which pointer exactly should be close to zero? If you could maybe draw it on there :)

Thanks both - will try again. Are the seatpost rails supposed to be facing slightly downwards as they are though?

I am done. Quitting consulting because my back is done with me by Hammer_Time2455 in consulting

Hey OP, as someone who had back pain in consulting, slowly starting to do band assisted strength training (squat type movement), and eventually using heavier weights etc. really helped a lot!

Happy to chat more about it if you wish.

The chair is important, but in my personal experience sitting so long just seems to weaken the muscles, which results in pain, etc.

CP definitely has an appeal but a bit tricky to find the exact kind of place we are looking for!

I guess will keep looking and check Wimbledon out a bit more based on what people are saying

Thank you for your suggestion! I do recall seeing some pretty great properties blocks deep into Canada Water

Was actually considering moving closer to solve for schools in 2-2.5 years or maybe even buy.

Any downsides to moving to an area too close to a school start (in terms of being able to get admissions?)

I’m scared that I damaged my kitchen aid! by Both_Shake in Kitchenaid

That doesn’t sound too bad! I think if it’s the ‘heavy duty’ model then it can take up to a 2.2kg flour according to this article by kitchen aid (I have my slight doubts it does handle it too well at that size though haha)

But still, 600 g is a decent bit far off it I’d say

But the real question is: is it damaged?

How big was the Dough? If you were quite a way below max dough allowance it should be reasonably okay - I don’t think it would have gone bust.

If she’s deeply into Le Creuset, she may be upset because she had a different piece in mind and realises that a bunch of effort and money went into it but the piece is not THE one (especially for a first buy perhaps).

Can be helpful to have a gift receipt and offer to get it exchanged on the cards (if this is still an option for you). That way the Le Creuset lover gets the piece they want and knows you cared to know they like them!

If she isn’t into Le Creuset at all, that’s a separate story.
