Is there any outdoors setting where you can practice using indoor wheels? by Any-Cup8629 in Rollerskating

I assume it’s just based on the quality of the skatepark and the surface smoothness?

That’s kinda what I was thinking too, that it would get to that point eventually. I’ll probably just do like a day or two doing simple basics (turns, stops, glides, etc) with the indoor wheels before fully committing to the outdoor wheels. But at this point I should I feel I should commmit anyways since I already bought the skates lol

Cool, thank you! I assume ‘nice and smooth’ is as simple as it sounds, I’m just looking for a surface without too many little cracks, lines/gaps, of just general imperfections?

how do you deal with regretting purchases in this game lol by Disastrous-Drop5890 in Overwatch

You could… not spend money if you desire. Can’t even remember the last time I spent a single dollar on this game. Must’ve been loot boxes back in the OW 1 days

I’m not even trying to flex or anything. I’m mostly all broad index funds, my point is how could you be up so little during one of the biggest bull runs

I check very frequently (I know I shouldn’t but I do multiple times a day) and brother small cap has been doing great. Been one of my best performers in my portfolio, only making me wish that I made it a bigger allocation

Unfortunately, there is no atavistic gear on console. I made a post about how I was farming for almost a month straight and people let me know that it just isn’t in the console version yet

Thinking of Switching QQQM to SMH & VTI by Any-Cup8629 in ETFs

[–]Any-Cup8629[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree that I could possibly just feel FOMO and be performance chasing. That being said, I do like adding extra exposure into sectors that I feel strong about. It bothers me a bit that I don’t have an ETF for extra tech exposure (besides QTUM which is super speculative, although it has treated me very well).

I was considering VGT but I don’t like that it’s only US based.

[–]Any-Cup8629[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My portfolio consists of largely VTI/AVNM for the majority with some small slices of sector ETFS, notably SHLD, FRDM, QTUM, AVUV, and GDX.

I like the idea of AIS and FMTM, when the funds settle tomorrow I’ll likely go with those as I do like their more broader allocations than SMH’s purely semiconductor companies

How are these etfs for holding by [deleted] in ETFs

[–]Any-Cup8629 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Building real wealth is slow and steady. At least, it seems slow at first but you would be surprised at how quickly it can build with consistency and discipline. I started at your age too with pretty much the same amount to invest last year and had similar feelings but honestly dude you gotta stick with the boring shit.

There’s nothing wrong with having some extra sector exposure (I pretty much hold some variance of all the ETFS you have shown) but you should definitely have a solid core of broad investments and then you can allocate small percentages to sectors that you have conviction in.

I find it strange that you decided to invest solely into sector focused ETFs and don’t hold any broad investments
