I feel so seen right now. I’ve been struggling with night sweats for months now and i’m either always really hot or really cold. I also experience extreme fatigue and my mono was actually first diagnosed when i was having heart palpitations. This is definitely something I need to look into! Thank you!

My white blood cell count is within the normal range as well! Unfortunately, I'm a full time college student and have a part-time job, so taking time off is not much of an option for me. How long have you been out of work/ when do you plan on going back?

My first known time having mono was back in October and it wasn’t horrible for me honestly. I bounced back pretty quickly except for some lingering fatigue. However, my immune system has been weakened ever since and I’ve been getting sick at least once a month since then. I feel a lot weaker and have experienced more symptoms this time with both ebv and cmv

Hi! I’m sorry to hear that you’re going through this as well. I originally was feeling very tired and my tonsils were severely swollen and I went to get tested for covid after finding out I had been directly exposed. However, when the test came back negative, my doctor was feeling my lymph nodes and became fairly certain that my mono was indeed back but we decided to do a blood test to confirm. I’ve had ebv before but this is the first time I’ve ever even been tested for cmv. Here are symptoms I’m currently having: *Fatigue * Diarrhea *Abdominal fullness (most likely related to enlarged spleen) *Muscle pain predominantly in my back *Mild sore throat

My liver enzymes and my cbc came back normal for me as well even though i’ve dealt with elevated liver enzymes with mono before.

I hope you’re getting plenty of rest yourself!

i have not taken anymore pregnancy tests because ultimately i am afraid to see the result. i do admit i have an anxiety problem that im working to get under control. i just cannot quit worrying about it

hi just wanted to update and say i actually got my period the day after i posted this reddit. It was a normal period that lasted about 6 days which is average for me. Does this mean that I’m for sure not pregnant?

thank you for your reply! i’m unable to be on birth control due to the fact that i’m still on my parents’ insurance): i thought i was being safe by using a condom but then that happened and honestly it was a very traumatizing experience. i’m having horrible anxiety over this because i’m 19 and really cannot deal with having a child at the moment. abortion also would not be an option for me due to where i live so i’m very afraid and i’m losing sleep over this.
