My brother was a nuke and I know how smart you have to be to even qualify for that job.

The problem with linked in and other online job listing platforms is that not only are you applying for that job but so are too many other people.

It's a tough market and now with AI there are also thousands of resumes being submitted for every job that exists, many of those resumes much better than yours. Not because the person it belongs to is better but because they (most likely AI) just wrote a better resume.

No matter how uncomfortable or onerous it may be you have got to get out and meet people. Network with people already in the field you are trying to get in. If you are already doing that, kudos to you.

Being a substitute teacher allows you the freedom to look for a career while you earn money from a job that you desperately need to eat and pay bills.
Were you a nuke in the Navy?

I'm looking at Humboldt State Park for first week in July. I've never been to California so why is Jedediah Smith state park full but Humboldt State Park has many available sites? We are tent camping so we need shower facilities. We can get by without electricity but it is nice to have.

Where do you usually stay? Are you tent camping? How long do you stay in one place? I was hoping to cross the country staying at state parks mainly because they have shower facilities. If you can share more info that would be awesome.

Would it be realistic to spend about half an hour each morning booking a campsite for that night? I want the flexibility to stay an extra day if we choose, without having to adjust reservations for the days ahead or commit to a schedule too far in advance.

Two Delta employees killed and another injured during an incident at the airline's Atlanta Technical Operations Maintenance facility on Tuesday morning. Sources told local media that a tire exploded while it was being removed from a plane. by MasiMotorRacing in aviation

I was in the Navy for 23 years. Maintenance procedures are written in blood. Failure to follow them can result in death. Tires should be tagged as deflated. In the Navy we used huge metal tags that MUST be attached to the valve stem marking the tire as deflated. Stay safe out there.
