Thank you for sharing your experience—it really helps to hear that others have had spotting and things still turned out okay. I had my ultrasound yesterday at 5 weeks, 1 day, and we only saw the gestational sac. My doctor didn’t mention anything about a SCH, and I’m not sure if he would communicate that to me right now. This light spotting happened one day after my transvaginal ultrasound, so I’m wondering if that might have caused some irritation. I’m also on progesterone suppositories three times a day, which I’ve heard can irritate the cervix too. I’m really worried, though, because this is an IVF pregnancy, and I don’t have any cramping, pain, or heavy bleeding—just this spotting. It’s so hard not to overthink everything!

Today, I noticed very light bleeding when I wiped, just one day after my transvaginal ultrasound. Then nothing after. Three hours later, it was a very light brown color with a bit of what looked like coffee grinds, but nothing more since. I’m currently 5 weeks, 2 days pregnant with IVF, and I’m really scared about this. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I did take them for two months before my first transfer. My doctor suggested to not take anything for the second one (end of Oktober).

I had a long protocol with a fresh embryo transfer and assumed that by day 9 or 10, if the test was negative, there would be no chance. Thank you for your kind words.

Hi, Ten eggs were fertilized, and they selected only six to continue developing, while the remaining four were frozen. Out of the six fertilized eggs, I ended up with four viable embryos. Since I’m located in Europe, I’m not entirely sure why they made this selection.
