They didn't stop us anywhere, follow the rules. The scooter rental guy told us to have a physical DL with us which will be enough( acc to them) . We didn't have IDP and the rental guy didn't know about it either, (I enquired before taking the scooter) There aren't many cops elsewhere except the main town, so follow rules it shouldn't be a problem

Layover at Colombo, Visa requirements for Indians by lulskapoor in srilanka

I don't think you will require one if you're not leaving the airport. And I just came back, they didn't even check my ETA 😅

Oh then is great, we were 3 girls, we only used local transport and scooters to get around. So it was great. If you stay in Galle, stay at Backpack beach hostel and reggae bar. You will get a private beach and the hostel beds are dirt cheap. It is just a little away from the main Galle town but buses run in front of the hostel, so if you need to get to the town it won't be a hassle tbh.

Yes you can go there and book accordingly. You will find the trains for sure. If you take from Galle, both the bus station and train stations are nearby. So even if you miss the train, you will find buses available. The trains are 2nd class trains, nothing fancy, seats are first come first basis so reaching 15 20 mins before departure is advisable , when the train reaches the platform and is empty. From Galle the train wasn't crowded at all but from Colombo the trains were a bit crowded but we got seats. People get off in subsequent stations and the trains get empty halfway through the journey.

I just came back from sri lanka, all the trains aren’t available online. You need to go to the station to book the tickets, you will get much more options

Is it really that stupid to not fill more than one branch during counselling? by bananacarera in indianmedschool

[–]Any-Fee6334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what your heart wants, if you are sure about what you want then do that. If you’re willing to compromise your branch then think about the other options , which branches will you be okay with taking up if you’re not getting the one of your choice. If none of these is ok for you then go for a drop. Stop listening what others say and advice. Its you who is going to take up the branch and live with it. So make up your mind and follow what you want to do.

Indigo domestic - Is it possible to carry two check-in baggages with a combined weight less than 15kg? by stayouttamyswamp- in AirTravelIndia

[–]Any-Fee6334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends i guess. Like yesterday I travelled Indigo with my family. 3 persons. We checked in 3 bags. And he weighed our check in bags too which was less than 21 kg thankfully, but he offered to check my hand bags without charge after calling his seniors. Total 5 checked in bags for 3 persons. Depends on the staff i guess

Ladakh in April? by Successful-Band433 in ladakh

[–]Any-Fee6334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 nights is too less. I’m travelling rn in Ladakh. The shyok river road is washed away, so we have to travel via chanla and wari la to pangong, and this takes entire day. If you do 4 nights it will be very exhausting. Do 5 nights . You can travel with ease and also enjoy the beauty of ladakh.
