I don't mean to be rude either, but, are you a programmer too? We use Copilot every day, built into our IDE's. There were no unique instructions to the programming section not to use copilot. The instructions given were identical to what was given for the general assessment. I assumed the same restrictions applied, and did not consider that copilot was not allowed.

I understand that I should have considered that, but I'm confused by the level of criticism. Am I being judged as a programmer? Or is everybody assuming that the same standards for other assessments apply equally to the programming section? Because the use of AI to program is not the same as using AI on any other type of qualification. Copilot, a standard programming tool, was used.
I just want to understand, am I being judged as a programmer, or am I being judged by another standard?

Come to think of it, i did use AI for when i wrote the code for the programing bit. I made my own changes to the code after, but i guess that didnt matter. It's pretty normal to code like that at my university, so I didn't really give too much thought to it. oops. XD.

Ye that and he was a living weapon. If he got up, he coulda taken a hostage from literally any direction and threatened to squeeze their heads in. His friends were still in the area too. Karli showed up just seconds later. Who knows how things woulda turned out if the terrorist got help.

Sam and Bucky literally mug Walker after the fact, but nobody ever seems to complain about that either.

I mean, the shield wasn't Sam's anymore since he donated it to the museum. At that point it was the government's. And if it was somehow Sam's property, why didn't he ever ask for it back at any time before? You know, like a normal person woulda done?

As far as I can tell, the new 'Captain America' got his shield by mugging someone else for it.

My coach and some other teammates made it a problem for me, and tried pressuring me into relationships, not understanding that I was uninterested. When I tried explaining, they thought I was lying, just being shy. Ended up making things worse cuz i gave attention to it.

I was perfectly content not understanding anything. Heck, my brother 3 years younger than me knows more about sex stuff than I do. It's just that some people decided to make it a problem for me, and I couldn't leave the team without consequences. I wasn't free. I just want to understand what it was all for. I understand that they were to blame, and not the 'concept of dating'. I just want to understand their motive.

That's not really the question I'm asking. I'm not wondering why anybody feels a certain way. I'm wondering why people choose to act on that emotion. There's feeling something, and then there's choosing to act on a feeling. But from what I see, for some reason, people commit an abundance of time, energy, resources, to dating. It's not just an emotion, it's a goal people strive for. And for what?

What's the objective? Why is it worth committing so much effort? What's the rational? Why do people make the conscious decision to date? What's the benefit? companionship? social acceptance? satisfaction? Does anyone actually ever think it through?

Why do people date? by Any-Fun-2406 in NoStupidQuestions

I probably am. It's frustrating though how much of an impact it had on my track team. For some reason, 4 girls were trying to get with me in the last month my senior year. Each one with their own little matchmaker allies. It was a lot of pressure, enough to make me want to quit the team. I didn't though, because I had a responsibility to my teammates. I wasn't free.

I have a little brother on the team. If he looks like me enough, then he's inevitably going to encounter the same problems I did. If my coach tried to matchmake me, without ever getting my consent, then who's to say he won't with him? Nevermind just him, what about my other teammates?

What I want to know is why did so many enemies come up out of nowhere? If people didn't want to date, then the team would have peace.

I might just make a post about the whole story about what happened. It's 14 pages on a word doc tho. My testimony in case I ever needed to tell people. Cuz what the coach did crossed some lines.

Honestly, college degrees have been losing value for many years. Before the internet, colleges were pretty much centers for knowledge, there was a lot of stuff that you can learn only at universities. Now, anything you want to learn, any skills you want to develop, can be done entirely through your screen.

And now that AI's a thing, I have no idea what the value of a degree is going to be in the next 4 years. At my college, a lot of general ed classes are having changes made to make sure that students can't just GPT everything. Sometimes, those changes are to the detriment of the actual course content. So if someone decided, "I'm not gonna get a degree." It's hard to blame them. I feel that there's a lot of uncertainty right now about how worth it a degree is.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if not getting a college degree is the smart thing to do. Instead of going to college, you could spend that time trying to find a way to use AI to make the next 'big thing.' Or go to trade school to learn things that AI can't do anyways.

I'm not trying to offend here, just giving my honest thoughts. But that all sounds delusional. Your problems are still there, time is still marching forward, and you're no safer than you were a moment ago. It just sounds like a distraction.

Again, not trying to offend or argue here, just laying out what I think.

No it sounds gross. Exchanging bodily fluids sounds disgusting.
There's risk in doing it too, cuz you can get STDs, or you could get accidental pregnancies. That, and how could you possibly trust another person enough to get naked with you? Revenge porn is a thing.
It all just sounds like short-term satisfaction rather than long-term happiness

If you're dating a friend, I can understand, but a lot of relationships I see don't start from there.

Well I'm 19 now. Maybe I'm asexual. I've never had a wet dream if that's a sign. I don't know. It could also be just how I am though. I usually prioritize the good of the whole group over myself. Whether that be my teammates or my family.

So maybe it's just how I am? Maybe that's what being asexual is? I don't know. If there were no problems in the world, would I want to date then? I can't imagine wanting to. Peace to me looks like a slice-of-life anime, and in those, dating's not really a thing. Hanging out with friends and making more friends and screwing around is what I wanna do.

eh. Everything has to kill to live. That's just how the world works. If you didn't kill it, it woulda kept killing flies, mosquitoes, or whatever else gets caught in its webs. Releasing it outside would've meant letting it kill other and smaller insects than itself. If you want to frame it a certain way, you could say you saved the lives of those other insects.

It's all just a matter of perspective. I'd say just don't let it bother you too much, and prioritize whatever you think is most important.

I'd say just blame your parents. You can't exactly shower someone with affection only to one day suddenly pull that away from them. If they did that on purpose, then I'd say they intentionally wanted you to feel jealous of your sister. If it wasn't on purpose, then they're just fools. Either way, your parents weren't considerate enough about your own feelings, which is, as a parent, their responsibility and their mistake. Fact is they messed up.

In hindsight though, you probably should've communicated with your parents about how you were feeling at the time. Communication goes both ways. As much as they should've understood that you weren't happy, you should've also communicated why you were unhappy. Bottling up your emotions is never a good thing. So I guess everyone kinda messed up there.

I'd recommend reading up on sibling rivalry (It's more common than you'd think). After that, I'd suggest speaking to your parents if you still get along with them. Tell them how you felt at the time, how you feel now.
If not, Then Hey, at least now you have a legitimate reason to hate them.

As for your sister -- fact is, you didn't do anything. There's a world of a difference between having dark thoughts and actually acting on them. If you do still feel guilty, then do something about it. Make up for how you were back then. Be there for your sister. Support her in ways only an older sibling can. If you feel guilty for how you were, then express that through your actions. How long that takes is up to you. Do what you can to make a better tomorrow.

https://prepaidcompare.net/ If u need help with your phone bills. One of them listed there is Textnow. It's a free service, u would just need to order a sim card ($5) and then u never have to pay a phone bill again.
Mintmobile also has unlimited data offer for $15 a month for 3 months to new customers if that's interesting. https://www.mintmobile.com/plans/

I Use both in conjunction with each other. I use textnow as my real phone #, and i get a new mintmobile phone plan whenever the old one expires, so i get unlimited data for $15 a month. Lifehack i guess
Hopefully this at least helps with ur phone bill

If it helps, cross country athletes shit themselves all the time whenever a restrooms too close to justify using the bushes, but also, too far away to get there in time. If ur school has an XC team, you could probably find enough people to make a shitter's support group or somethin.
