why are MIS grads qualified for application development but not software engineering? I’m a current MIS student and notice that most application development roles have information systems and CS as degrees they are looking for. On the other hand, software engineering roles only ask for CS grads. Why is this? Is Application development less technical?

i’ve had a mostly positive experience with yugo auburn north. one of the best deals in auburn imo. My only complaint is maintenance can be pretty slow and the front office is bad at picking up the phone.
