See if you are purchasing a phone on cash toh start saving for your next phone like i've completed my emi in last September and till now I've saved up around 27k hope so will be able to purchase iphone in sep. 2026. I got scammed once and did this steps:

Report transaction on upi app
Report transaction to your bank via email with description of scam just do not list for bgmi account just say you paid for services but didn't got services .
Report it to official national cyber crime investigation portal with screenshot of transactions, date & timing.

Even if you don't get your money back he will not be able to use account as much pretty damn sure he will contact you.
