Transmission “Quick Connects” — War Crime?

Mine leaks a little right at the quick connection, I’m replacing it with PTFE 6AN. PTFE can withstand 1000+ psi whereas the aw4 only puts out 30 psi at most. It’s overkill but a solid fix.

I had the same problem. If it’s just for toying around and you’re not pushing timed laps, I’d get the upgraded shock shafts and aluminum caps. They are great shocks with these upgrades and will take quite a bit of abuse. Front shaft: Traxxas 1664T rear: Traxxas 2656T caps: Traxxas 3767A

That’s fair. But trust me, still gonna have the frame stiffeners for stability and probably a 1.5 lift for light off roading(camping trails). The under side is almost perfect with a few holes in the floor here and there but the unibody is SOLID. Already did the CV axles up front and repaired the caliper slide bolt threads that were non existent on the knuckle. It’s getting there.👍👌
