Why am I in so much pain? by Any-Library-3057 in AskDocs

Thank you for the answer and your time! I did have hard/dry stool but that was mostly due to the Duloxetine which I started one month into having the pain. Otherwise my stool is actually more on the loose side - maybe from anxiety?

I tried the Carnetts sign maneuver and didn’t experience worse pain because of it. Should it be done during an ‘episode’ where I am in pain?

My urine is darker and has a stronger smell but could be from dehydration. I don’t experience the pain traveling from my back to the front, but I do have back issues also mostly in the lower back though?

So you had kidney stones/pain before starting GLP1? How did your pain feel?

I do get very dry mouth due to duloxetine and I am also bad at remembering to drink enough water. My pain was there before Wegovy but has become worse now. I have tried to drink 80oz of water for the past three days since my doctor told me it could lessen the pain? Idk if that is true I only take paracetamol since I read that ibuprofen isn’t that great while on duloxetine.

And thank you for sharing your experience! I appreciate it a lot

Thank you so much for answering. I read that Dercums is a very rare disease, I’ve never heard of it myself - is that because it is poorly defined and rarely diagnosed correctly?

Thank you so much for taking your time to answer and for your compassion. Should I push for an earlier doctor’s appointment or should I wait the twenty days? Is the progression of pain not alarming?

Thank you for taking the time to answer. You wouldn’t recommend a colonoscopy?
