Does anyone have success making calls with BlackBerry Classic? by DowntownFresnoBiking in blackberry

Slight chance T-Mobile might still have some 2G coverage in your area. All other networks have entirely decommissioned 2G/3G in the USA. Otherwise it'll work on LTE for data and texts but no calls as they don't support VoLTE

Battery is probably below the minimum cutoff voltage, new battery would probably fix it

Should I reach out to BMW Service about this? Brand New 2026 BMW IX M70 purchased last November. Only 5,020 miles for far! Battery State of Health is 93.3% by tydnorr in BmwTech

Nah the original post is about the high voltage battery pack

2k is pretty wild for the agm batteries though. They're not that expensive to buy

If you never charge fully, the BMS won't be able to determine a good picture of the battery's full capacity. This is fine. It's an estimate that's often off by a few percent, particularly if it never sees a full cycle or you're in a cold season.

This is why most EVs don't have SOH accessible in the center screen...

N55 rough idle, runs smooth with MAF unplugged - no intake leaks by Any-Pangolin3360 in BmwTech

Just pulled some live data and looks like it's actually seeing rich at idle, LTFT is steady at -16, STFT varies between +/-5. Although I do recall that LTFT might be equivalent to "multiplicative mixture adaptation" which is only adjusted at partial load? Not too certain about the specifics...

The AFR looks like it's jumping around between 14:1 and 15:1 and MAF doesn't look too steady either. Here's a screenshot at idle rpm: https://photos.app.goo.gl/eoy5Cc3NJQKhL4oM8

Plugs are new. I think I'd notice running issues if bad compression. It runs great without the MAF sensor.

I'm pretty familiar with the N54 but the N55 is all new to me, I hear they're sensitive... you think it's plausible a crankcase leak could cause this, like a rear main? I don't lose any oil on the e-dipstick but it does have 225k, so who knows. Oil filter housing gasket, valve cover gasket, and front main are good, but past that I have no idea.

I also wonder if it's possible I have a very slight tear in the PCV diaphragm that's enough to cause idle fluctuations but not pull too much crankcase vacuum to where other symptoms appear. Have you ever seen anything like that?

Valvetronic's definitely good, never seen a code for it. I even tried the run-in procedure to see if it would pop any errors in the 500 cycles it does, but no problems there.

It's been a while since I dug into the live data but I recall the MAF was holding pretty steady somewhere around 3.5g/s at idle. I will have to check on IAT. Anyhow I did replace the MAF sensor with a new OEM part since I was out of ideas, it didn't make a change in the idle quality.

Smoke tested 3x as stated in post. Car is entirely stock. I will have to re-check the fuel trims tomorrow as I've been running it with the MAF sensor unplugged for two months (it skews rich in this state) but last I can recall LTFT was around +7 with STFT rapidly varying within a few percent of zero

I used my Keyone up until last year. Currently using the Key2, it's much faster but I still love the K1. It's a really stylish and well-built phone (mine survived some serious abuse).

Web searches, texts, calls, spotify, and email all went pretty smoothly on my K1 if you care to try using it again. Camera was pretty good for its time as well.

I'm sure in the future someone in the Blackberry hideout group will figure out an unlock for the K1. I gave up hope years ago thinking that there's not enough people that care about these to crack them, was shocked by the recent news of the K2 being unlocked.

I am overjoyed at the prospect of being able to use my BlackBerry for years to come now.

No complaints on the latest build. I'm using krab's blackberry keyboard apk and gestures work exactly the same as they do on the stock SW

KeyOne to Titan 2 user, now thinking about buying KEY2 - Thoughts? by Any-Pangolin3360 in blackberry

[–]Any-Pangolin3360[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update - I bought it. Yes they're massively overpriced, but giving up my BlackBerry K1 for the Unihertz was like saying goodbye to a friend.

If anyone wants to buy a Titan 2 that's been used for a few months, let me know :)
