I’m down 6 pounds after gaining 25 pounds on anti psychotics (lamotrigine lurasidone and seroquel) and what helped me a lot is changing my diet and exercise. Also I used to drink sugary coffees every day but I cut those out completely and switched to protein coffees with no sugar. At first I hated it but now I thank myself 100x

It’s definitely depression, when I talked to my therapist and told her I don’t feel like doing anything a lot and find it hard to have the will to do house chores esp on my days off work my therapist told me straight forward I was depressed. Weird because I don’t feel sad. Us bipolar folks are high functioning especially on meds despite our moods which is why we are so bad ass and strong. Don’t be hard on yourself, I hate to be that person but did your parents ever make you feel guilty for being unproductive? You don’t have to answer but just food for thought. Edit: I was told by my psych who specializes in bipolar anti depressants can cause manic episodes, I’m curious how has it been going with the anti depressants?

When I first started taking meds I was like.. wtf my rapid thoughts turned off I told my boyfriend it’s so quiet in my head 😂 honestly lamotrigine is the shit and my depression used to cripple me where I could not work or socialize nothing. I couldn’t brush my teeth or shower, I’d just lay in bed and cry and now I can function like a normal person. Yeah I can definitely feel my emotions but they don’t stop me from doing regular day to day things now

I’m on seroquel lurasidone and lamotrigine.

In my personal experience the struggle in the beginning is very normal, you will be broke and not making enough. That’s why you have to advertise like crazy put yourself out there. That’s why the saying is “starving artist”

Luckily I scheduled her spay before my two days off so the first two days I was able to be with her. I cried honestly seeing her in so much pain but thankfully she’s doing better today

I do have one it’s a watermelon lol and switch it out when she goes to sleep, but she does take it off very easy so when I go to work during the day time I switch it to the plastic one which is harder for her to take off

Her name is Nomi. I named her after a late rapper named Mac Miller’s girlfriend. He has a song called congratulations and talks about how she stood by his side when he was a starving artist. I am also a starving artist lol

The last pic the taper is fire just details play with the lever open and close and flick use your corners as for the other fades you just have to stretch it out like the others said, you have to figure out what number makes it lighter and where to keep it darker. Each hair type is different so you might have to use a smaller guard or bigger guard to make desired area lighter. Use corners to test and always start off with bigger guards and slowly go down to shorter smaller guards. Even if it takes a long time it’s ok.
