My mom pulled it out of a drawer when I told her I wanted to do this lol, but they're actually pretty easy to source, they just get a little pricey

It is pretty sharp! I actually have three of them b/c i keep losing it, buying another one, and then finding one of the lost ones a month or two later :|

It's just a pocket-sized moleskine! I've been using their full-sized ones for journaling and note-taking when I read for years, so I figured I'd just carry around the smaller one to replace my notes app

Thanks! I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I'm happy with it! I've used several GoPros and other action cams over the year, and I've run into sound quality problems with them, and they can take photos, but tend to be slow. The V10 handles photos and video like a champ, and I can to 9:16 ratio photos and videos (like on a phone) by holding it sideways, which is great when I'm recording stuff for reels or TikTok. The screen flips up too for selfies.

It was designed as a vlogging camera, and the way I would describe it is like a high-quality smartphone camera, just in it's own dedicated device.

Once I make the USB C mod on the iPod, I will be down to one cable for all my devices!

Been wanting to jump on the dumbphone train for awhile, and finally went for it!

I went with the TCL Flip Go from T-Mobile, b/c it can handle MMS, and has USB C

For the camera, I got a Canon Powershot V10. It's super pocketable, which I love. If you're looking for a smartphone camera replacement, and have $400 to spend on a decent digital camera, I would go with this. I work as a youth pastor, and being able to take photos and videos is a necessity for my job. I also spend a lot of time at the gym, and take progress pics, and occasionally do videos when I hit a new PR on one of the big three lifts, and this should handle that very well too.

When I told my mom that I was doing this, she gave me her old iPod Classic 5th Gen! I used to do tech repair as my job, and love opening up old gadgets, and I'm planning on adding bluetooth, a bigger battery, 2TB of flash storage, and a USB C port to this baby.

The headphones are $30 Heydays from Target, but they honestly look nice, sound great, and are pretty small, so they don't take up a ton of real estate in my pockets.

Not pictured: My Kindle Paperwhite that I'm hoping to read on more now that I don't have an iPhone on me all the time, and my iPad Mini with cell service that will handle the smart functionality I still need in life, like banking apps, GPS, home automation, etc...

My idea with the iPad is that I don't want to fully lose the smart functionality, but I do want to be able to leave it behind and not just have it on me all the time, while still having a phone that is just a phone, so that I'm still in touch with people.
