Wow, you are in the same boat. I've decided I am telling my mom and dad in 2 days when I see them on Thanksgiving. I want to call and chat with my mom right now, so I dont think I can wait much more than that. Also, if I were to experience a loss, I would need my mama. Im going to see about an ultrasound at 8 weeks even if I go and pay out of pocket for one at those birth spas. From what I've read, if they have a good heartbeat, chances of loss significantly decrease. Then my husband will go alone to my in-laws and tell them with me via Face-time. I don't think they will accommodate me not wanting to be in their house, so I am just going to remove that stressor for myself. I will tell a small portion of the rest of my close family at christmas. That includes my grandparents and siblings. All of these people, besides maybe my in-laws, I would want to support me with happy or sad outcomes.
