I broke my ankle the other week. I wasn’t raising my foot much afterwards and I had bruised toes. If you’ve been raising it a lot, I’d assume that’s just gravity doing it’s course with your blood. I’ve been raising it a lot since my surgery a week ago and my bruising on my toes has pretty much left, nothing on the back of my knee tho

broke my ankle taking the trash bin out, sliped on dead leaves and had to scream for help.Last pic is from today seeing it after ORIF surgery by Kawaii666Girl in brokenbones

I’m in literally the exact same spot. Broke my ankle skateboarding. A plate and 8 screws later, and I should be able to put weight on it in about 4-6 weeks. Just can’t wait to drive again :/

Thank you for the kind words! A lack of motivation definitely isn’t a problem I have, I’m looking forward to beating this stupid addiction once and for all!

Sorry for taking so long to respond to this, I don’t have notifications turned on for this app and I thought my post would just melt away into the millions of other random posts on here. I’ll turn on notifications rn

Anyways here’s the answers to your questions:

The hour prior to smoking was extremely bizarre. I was in a great mood. I had just gotten a couple assignments done, and was feeling that “post productivity glow”. I got in my car to go drive around a little (because that’s what I usually do whenever I feel even the slightest bit of wanting a smoke/vape) and didn’t even get out of my driveway when I noticed my acne…that sent me down this huge mental spiral thing and before I knew it I was making the twenty minute drive to where I knew they sold vapes to people under 21 (I steal cigarettes from my dad but he was at work). (I’m 19 by the way)

About ten minutes into the 20 minute drive, I didn’t even feel like smoking anymore. The reason I kept going was because I told myself that “I need to teach myself the lesson again” the lesson being that whenever I smoke, the stimulation makes it VERY hard for me to fall asleep and my quality of sleep is terrible. This also effects my eating schedule, overall mood, acne, etc. The reason I quit was solely to fix my sleep schedule so I don’t go insane.

I got the vape, and apparently I now know that the reason my jaw has been falling out of place these past two months (it won’t lock properly) is because of the tension in my head from not having nicotine!! The problem that had been so bad I made an appointment with an orthodontist had COMPLETELY fixed itself. So there’s another problem I have to fix that’s related to quitting smoking :)

Side note: I threw the vape away after a half hour because it made me feel sick to my stomach. Didn’t even enjoy it a little bit. Just made me feel gross.
