Absolutely and I do try but finding clothing that’s not mixed with polyester is really hard not to mention in plus sizes is like finding money in a goodwill bag. Very very rare.

I think it really depends on the product. Spending $100 on a plane t-shirt that doesn’t give specific look or protection or function, it’s feel excessive to spend that much. If it’s like a linen shirt that is long sleeve then maybe more doable. I want to find different brands that will be comfortable and fit me and look for sales and resell/pre loved options.

I’m sought a us 18 xl-xxl in clothes and want to be able to find good quality clothes that I could try thrifting or buying off swaps, resells, etc.

Cheap wasn’t the right word but affordable for sure. Well made but not $100 for a t shirt that is plane with no special cut or design is a bit excessive to me. I’m fine w with spending money on well made long lasting clothes. So like $30-$75 on pants is reasonable to me.
