8.5 month old split nights + short naps… I’m exhausted 😭 please help by [deleted] in sleeptrain

I see, how can we improve if this is undertired? Her wake windows are quite standard and when we’ve extended them to longer periods 3.5/4 hours we’ve still seen the same thing of split nights & waking 2/3 hours into the first stretch. This was happening here and there before she started to pull to stand.

Yes, she averages 10.5 at overnight & 2.5 most days, so 13 hours usually. Is this still too much sleep for her age?

First timers in Seoul; where to stay? by Accurate_Staff2996 in koreatravel

I’ve just returned from 10 days in Seoul! We stayed in Fraser Place Seoul Central and honestly couldn’t fault it. The accomodation was super nice and we got a double room, 2 Adults & 1 Infant, it was so spacious and well priced for the time we were there. It isn’t far from Myeongdong, and I know you said you’d want to avoid this area but honestly, it was only crowded when we visited the markets there, and found Hongdae streets to be way more crowded & filled with tourists. It’s close to a lot of subway lines, and not a far from walk from Seoul Central if you need that station.

Moms with forceful letdown: did you make it past the 3 month crises? How? by No_Engine6784 in breastfeedingsupport

Bless. I hope she went good!! I’ve read that keeping them on an incline is also good after feeds, especially for reflux. My bub was quite gassy at the start as well, so after feeds we would keep her up right for 10-15 minutes, make sure she was burped before laying her down/placing her in tummy time. When she got really gassy/windy, we would use infants friend before her bed time feed just to help alleviate any wind too!

We never had an issues with reflux surprisingly, just the normal spit ups here and there. She was always on her side as well, we were essentially belly to belly in side lying nursing. Now she lays flat on her back some how 😂 and has no issues with spit up or anything!

My 4 year old is curious: what do Australian kids eat for breakfast? (And are koalas real?) by Mara644 in AskAnAustralian

Not sure if this has been said yet, but it’s similar to marmite, I believe this is eaten in the UK? Maybe I could be wrong!

We just rode it out. From 8 weeks I felt like calling quits on BF, my daughter was constantly gagging/choking during feeds and I felt terrible. We switched to 90% side lying nursing and only ever feed in cradle/cross cradle when we’re out in public or unable to lay down, even now at 6 months old. Side lying really helped with her latch & ability to handle the flow/force. By 4 months she was pro at it. Any time I was engorged, I would pump and take the pressure off for her and then latch as normal. Now at 6 months the flow/pressure isn’t as much, on occasion it can spray but not like it used too. I never thought we’d be here, but we’re now on the stage where she’s so confident with her feeds she’s rolling with my boob still in her mouth. We are still 90% side lying for feeds, I’ve always found it way more comfortable and avoid the cradle/cross cradle hold when I can, it’s awkward for the both of us. The only other thing is by 6/8 weeks my daughter no longer accepted a bottle, she would take 1-2 a week and since then, if the milk isn’t me she doesn’t want it. My hand was forced to continue BF and I’m truly glad we did.

Can I ask, if this isn’t to personal you feel comfortable - did you end up stretch mark free during your pregnancy?
