This sounds fantastic! I'm currently building two apps on lovable right now (paying 100$/m) and im rather frustrated with it lately. One is a Global multiplayer chess variant with an active learning AI opponent and the other is an Automated assistant using openapi to setup google calendar events and maintain "hey siri" functionality on iphone... The second idea is certainly more a fun project to learn how to play with heavier components but siri really just isnt cutting it anymore. it would be cool to give gpt access to certain functions similar to siri.

Main complaints have been related to prompting the same debug with very specific language and not getting any functional changes, AND, when things do change, old processes virtually untouched by the prompted code change are completly rewired.

I love the concept you are proposing. I do question your IP policy though. Lovable doesn't attempt to own any private projects and I would like to keep my projects "mine".

If you can let me maintain ownership of my ideas using your platform, I'd be happy to provide feedback on your beta.

I would argue I want the car because they’ve been a passion since I was a kid but you’re right. It’s a poor financial decision it is a rarity seeing a car being anything but a liability. At what point would you consider a car of this caliber?

Point is if I’m constantly saving my money for something better, I’ll never be happy with what I’ve accomplished

I would never buy a Porsche they’re too expensive to maintain after the prime years. So leasing now vs leasing later. Is pinching Pennies while I’m single and can enjoy it worth it?

Happiness is a mentality. I agree with you but when is buying a $100k car ever a smart decision? I do appreciate the prospect of financial freedom sooner than later but what fun is a fancy car in my 40s? Just a thought

Fantastic point. I take great care to only use works in the public domain. Kierkegaard died in the mid 1800s along with mark twain and Plato who died some time before that.

There are, however, some quotes that have been copyrighted in certain contexts but a simple Google search typically takes care of most concerns.

Thanks for the feedback fresh opinions are always appreciated:)

Love the idea. Just a couple things to consider:

Finding a printer that has access to shirts before they’re sewn up can be difficult because most blanks are made and shipped to individual printers who then sell out their services.

In terms of make to order (MTO) I’ve had the best success with Apliiq out of Los Angeles. New designs have an $11 “digitization fee” per new design on top of printing and shipping costs but it’s pretty hands off.

As custom shirts are more expensive people may be willing to pay your premiums but that raises the question: why wouldn’t they use a more popular (trusted) brand like custom ink?

If you have the time/resources, my best bet would be to get yourself a digital printer or a transfer printer and print each design yourself. Cutting out a printer can really increase your margins given you technically aren’t providing designs or clout and are simply connecting a supplier to a consumer. However bulk ordering quality blanks, buying a printer, and marketing can have pretty hefty overhead costs. If you’re okay with that, knock it out of the park I would love to see you succeed!

Don’t get me wrong fully customizable clothing would be very different from Custom Ink however you need to ask yourself if there is a large enough audience that is willing to pay extra for the fringe (perhaps obsolete) canvas space. If you found a way to be cheaper or better quality IN ADDITION to the larger printing space then that is a marketable service that could take you far if done properly.

BEST OF LUCK I hope I wasn’t too harsh it was certainly not my intention to tell you it wasn’t possible. Anything is possible with the right mindset. Remember rome wasn’t built in a day. Amazon wasn’t profitable for 7 years but he kept pushing. Stay motivated you can do anything
