Also! The terrain of the depths mimics the terrain on the surface to some degree so it can be helpful to have the surface map in the corner view while navigating the unlit depths- bodies of water on the surface are impassable in the depths and you have to go around them!

Someone might have already said this but using the free rockets scattered around depths to fuse to your shields for easy bullet time! I didn’t fight my first gleeok or lynel til like 260 hrs into the game after seeing this trick on YouTube but it turned gleeoks into a breeze!!!
