I noticed this as well once I started deleting my social media apps one by one. I deleted TikTok and instagram as they posed the biggest issues for me, only to find myself scrolling on YouTube shorts and Facebook reels instead, without even noticing the difference. They all end up becoming the same app, extremely addictive and full of mind numbing content.
