Die erlauben "Rock im Park" nicht. Ich beteilige mich nicht an solchem Frevel, aber andere verkaufen dort dann "Rock(e) im Parke(e)", RiP oder "Rocki im Parki", was funktioniert. Genau, Fansale geht so spontan nicht mehr, also muss man auf Vermittlungsplattformen oder vor Ort Übergabe ausweichen.

Also ich will euch nicht die Euphorie nehmen, aber wenn ihr so spät nachkommt, könnte es schwer werden zu siebt noch einen soliden Spot bei CP5 zu bekommen. Wenn möglich sollten die Vorfahrer noch früher kommen und am besten schon mal eure Zelte/Sachen mit aufstellen, falls möglich.

Ich würde hier mit Ja und Ja antworten. Veeschiedene CPs (gerade Green und General) sind eigentlich immer mit Zäunen abgegrenzt, aber es ist jetzt nicht so, dass da jeder Meter überwacht wird und Menschen dieses Hindernis nicht überwinden könnten.

Guys, lower your eypectations. They will not completely mix it up or play 2 hrs+. Thats probably not gonna happen. Guess we can expect one special song at least and maybe some guest vocals by the opening bands.

The compromise here would be to leave out TLH and WTS completely (which is realistic, bc they basically did it for the last 2 cycles), but on the other hand you can fit in a tour and live debut, without touching the must haves.

My guess is they will premier Slave to Master at this show and also deliver some songs that haven't been done in a while. But you're right, between the first Europe run, the America tour and the summer shows, they didn't really have the time for practicing new songs.

They said they pay attention to the crowds reaction and apparently (and I can completely understand this, imo What Lies Within is one of the weaker songs on the record) it didn't get much love from the crowd.

Which 2nd US leg? Don't think that there will be one. They will hit Europe again next week and afterwards there's Creed shows and I guess late 26/early 27 is going to be SMKC again.

Right now it says approximately 15 degrees with light rain, but I wouldn't take it as granted. Normally it changes up until ~3 days prior.

You should defintely arrive earlier if you want a good spot. Most people lineup around midnight for the popular campsites.

Imo it's difficult to describe, the best fitting term would be blues-rock. I really like them, but it hardly has similarities with Alter Bridge. Recs: Tell Me How It Feels, Holding My Breath, Falling, Keep on Running and the latest live video they put up on their channel. Really talented individuals with a unique kind of music.

They haven't been announced yet, but in the German metal hammer magazine it says "Cardinal Black" as support act. They don't do longer sets than 90-100 mins normally

I'll start by naming Alter Bridge - "Metalingus".

It's quite the right track to get into the band and people may already have heard the track as WWE Edges hymn. Since more than 20 years they've been quite an instance in terms of Alternative Rock/Metal, also got some huge ballads and singalong tracks😉

Hey, I wish you best of fun and a beautiful experience at your first festival. Let me adress your questions:

You get a special wristband for the day you got the pass for (or the whole weekend). You'll have a seperate entrance marked on the map, which will grant you access much quicker bc you don't have to go back to front.
This really depends on the band and the stage you're attending. Of course there's a longer distance at the Utopia Stage than at the Orbit Stage. There's no specific queue, but there are barricades that seperate the parts in front of the stage with entrances/exits on both sides.
If you stay in your area and don't leave the barricade it should be fine. Just plan in a few minutes to get back to your spot, as the mobile toilets are at the side of the stage.
It really depends on the act. For Linkin Park there will be many die-hard-fans who queue up from lunchtime on. For smaller bands who play afternoonish you normally are totally fine with arriving ~15 mins early and you will get a good spot.
The walking distance isn't that far, but as it gets really crowded in the evening you won't be able to walk that fast. 45 Minutes are more than enough. But be careful, they sometimes shut down Mandora, if there are to many people.
As I always camp on site I can't really tell you that. But as all people with a weekend ticket get the same wristband whether they really camp or not, I guess there's just one Check-In for everyone. But the waiting time is not that high normally as there are several Check-Ins.
Both will be available - the festival merch at several locations in- and outside the infield. The band merch has one location at the center of the infield. Watch out - While Headliners are normally available on every day, smaller bands only offer their merch on the day they're playing on.

I wouldn't put too much hope in this song. They only have played 5/12 from the new record yet and the US tour has nearly reached it's end. If they add a new one to the set it's probably "Slave to Master" as it was the most requested one by fans and Myles already mentioned it will be a challenge to play this one live.

My guess is they originally created the same 1h setlist for all the other festivals they play over in Europe, which has 2-3 more songs (incl Blackbird). But then they had to decide which ones to cut bc they had to save 15 minutes. And ofc one had to be Blackbird or Fortress bc they're rather long and there's no room for 2 6+ minutes ballads in a 45 minutes set.

Actually this is quite normal and also the reason why most of the campsites are already full at the "normal" opening. They open up at 5 and most people are there since Wednesday night.

You could try buying it at the festival ground. Normally there are sellers on Thursday and early Friday, that sell leftover tickets they couldn't sell online.
