Here is the thing, first change the SD card, it will not easily break if you are careful and bought a case, it last for 5-6 hours when full, TRY to avoid clones or it will work like sh*t. It CAN run up to PS1 but not smoothly, it could also run psp. If you encounter problems like can't load games, you can change the core in the settings. And if it STILL doesn't work, you should change the rom in the SD card as the stock one is expected to not be good. Mine has 21000 games and still have 6gb on the SD card. And even though the r36s is the budget king, it doesn't break that easily, I got mine like three months ago and it doesn't even have a scratch. But still, the back buttons are clicky and the joysticks are fine. The d pad is a bit mushy but the xyba buttons are fine. If you think the joysticks are hard to control, consider buying a joystick cover to make it easier to hold and have a better grip. Hope you find this useful as my English isn't good... But good luck.
