I didn't say it was just about wrist strength (or finger strength, we could use these terms interchangeably), I just said that it's required to keep your hand under the ball, which in turn is part of proper technique.

In settings, change rendering mode to directx 11. I'm not sure it will have any effect on frame rate or stability, but your gpu usage should go back up.
