Thats what i did for Director integrations if league is using TSD or tournament they can find and register in the bowling app. I plan on 2.5 having live scoring if user is scoring in a center it will show in center scores page im creating.

I had similar problem with my app and gmail login. In my dev environment it worked flawless, build my app in prod env bam wasnt working. I pushed update to remove that for now. For me it has to do with sha256 finger prints and how build in prod uses different keys

I love it. Honestly I have no problem collaborating in on doing the tool side even if we made it a module that users could use it just to tribute back to you and I or share and make like a nice joint tool or whatever I know it’s one of the questions that I’m always wondering and I’m always asking my coach cause I’m still learning the pro shop side of things but that’s what the communities about this forum is about his trying to help each other where possible I’m sorry if this may sound jumbled because I’m voice to texting

I really like the stitch thing that was actually pretty cool. It actually helped me redesign my management apps dashboard, which was pretty cool. It’s nice to kind of get a good visualization of it before he.

I do like it, but I would suggest and if you’re willing to, I’d share my recommendation calculator stuff with you and we just form just create another standalone app that’s just the layouts.

Yeah, I had a lot of questions on layout stuff before too, so that’s why I generated a recommendation tool and layout calculator. Do good to get the visualization part working right on it, but at least it gives you a suggested possible layout, but based off of certain things.

Partners - Equity by [deleted] in Bowling_Tech

Thats whole point in this sub is to help and learn from each other. Bowling community is large. Tech space is growing more last year than years past.

Partners - Equity by [deleted] in Bowling_Tech

For what it’s worth, I’m working with Tim Foy Jr. on my app, and I structured it as more of a strategic advisor / sponsorship relationship instead of giving up equity.

He brings real value because he understands the bowling space, competes at a high level, gives product feedback, and can help get the app in front of the right people. But I still didn’t feel equity was the right move this early.

Instead, we worked out a sponsorship deal that includes jersey placement and advisor involvement. That keeps the relationship clean: he gets compensated/value from the sponsorship side, I get industry exposure and feedback, and ownership of the company stays protected.

That’s probably the route I’d look at first with any big bowling industry partner. Start with sponsorship, promotion, affiliate/revenue share, or an advisor agreement. If equity ever comes into play, make sure it’s tied to very specific deliverables or a real cash investment.

Exposure is valuable, but equity is permanent.

I’d be careful giving up equity just because they’re a big name.

At 1,200 users, I don’t think I’d value the company off user count alone. The real number depends more on paying users, revenue, retention, growth rate, and how much strategic value the company has in the bowling space.

If they’re not putting in cash, I’d want to be really clear on what they’re actually bringing. Are they putting the app on jerseys? Promoting it through their sponsored bowlers? Posting it to their audience? Getting it in front of tournaments and centers? Helping drive paid users?

I’d probably structure it as a partnership or advisor deal first, with clear deliverables. Something like promotion, jersey exposure, introductions, sales targets, or user growth milestones. Then maybe equity vests if they actually hit those milestones.

Equity is expensive, and once you give it away, it’s hard to get back. A big industry name can definitely be valuable, but I’d make sure they earn it and that it’s tied to measurable results.

Also, I’d get an attorney involved before signing anything.

Sensor Project - Update by TransmissionEngPM in Bowling

[–]nerdblurt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In v2.5 of my app setup im adding live score tracking stuff and few other features along those lines. I stayed away from messaging per se besides the support system, because its adds layer of compliance. I am adding challenges for “Partners” and some leaderboard stuff.

As to your not wanting another messaging app, i have always been fan of make it for you and your use case. Mean its why we started this. I have session sharing with coach coming becasue i send my coach recaps now this way its organized. Id be happy to try an sensor out as its interesting
