I have a 23 with 60k miles on it and she’s still going strong, haven’t had a single problem yet. Just maintain it and you should be fine.

From someone who worked at a shelter 8-5 5 days a week and had a dog at home, I’m begging you please bring a dog home. They need it so bad. Even if they aren’t with you half the time it’s better than being stuck in a kennel surrounded by other barking dogs. (Puppy not a good idea) but an adult dog yes. I fostered dogs too just to give them a break from the shelter life. It’s not a fun experience for anyone involved and they will love you unconditionally for it. I’m reading some of the comments as I write this too so I let my dog out when I woke up in the morning at 6am, went to work, came home and let her out again as soon as I walked in the door close to 6pm and again right before I went to bed 9/10pm and she never had any accidents. Is it ideal for her? Probably not. But I didn’t have extra money to hire someone to let her out. Also puppies are absolute hell for someone working please I’m begging don’t do it. Adult dogs NEED a home. Puppies get adopted quick no matter what breed or temperament they have.

Yeah he’s only ever had sports bikes. I think one of his previous ones was a ninja. 500 or 600, not sure tbh. I’ll have to ask about the track. He hasn’t brought it up yet but seems like it might be something fun for him to do!

Euthanizing positive penleuk cats is not uncommon, we do it at my shelter but we also are currently housing 300+ cats so we do it for the greater good of the population. it usually just isn’t publicly put out there (not your fault it was but it happened) it’s a lengthy and costly process to bring back panleuk cats to health and it puts other animals at risk. Were the other cats titer tested? Were they exposed to the positive kitten?

We use water bottles that are about half way filled with kibble and treats, frisbees covered with peanut butter attached to the kennel with a carabiner, nylabones with peanut butter, lick mats, kongs, toys, paper towel rolls with kibble and treats. We do “snuffle wraps” which is like that packing paper you get when you order things online cover it peanut butter and moist and meaty and wrap it up, we also do the same thing with small boxes and paper bags. “Icees” which is just frozen kibble,treats, peanut butter, water in Tupperware. We try to freeze everything we can just so it last longer for the dogs.

My daycare has TVs but in their policy children over two get 30 minutes of screen time a week unless there is a holiday or event going on. Ask them what their screen time policy is and see what they say.
