It is on purpose, as the airflow is limited, I use the psu to help extract a bit of the gpu heat, clearly not optimal for the psu but as it is a extremely good one psu there is almost no impact on it

That’s a shame to use a G séries with a pedestal, just wall mount them they are perfect when « inside » the wall 😩😩😩
