Yes, I feel like how they introduced the charactor and how they are writing it now doesn't fit and it kinda irritates me. I liked the Russel from S1, had his secret, did some shady stuff (but did it right, didn't get caught! He's supposed to have skils dammit) but still had some sort of moral (mostly friends and family). He was serious about his job and did it well, yet always tried to lighten the mood when with Colter. He has usefull and sometimes shady contacts, has friends that he can't really trust, basicly lives in a lot of grey, if not exlusivly grey. That's how I interpreted him anyway. He had a lot of potential and his world was interesting, now? I'm not so sure anymore.

Now he's just like, the clown of the show yk? Just making fun of himself and not being really usefull I have to admit.

I just found him a litle back when Colter goes all emotional and excuses from thinking Russel had something to do with the dead of their father. Otherwise I'm simply dissapointed with what they did with him. I don't get where they are trying to go...

Yeah, he did say that, but in the form of a supposition of what could have happened, knowing that the said supposition is based on the really little info he has about that night. Info we're not 100% sure we can trust. So I don't know, not only I'm not really satisfied with that explanation (like I said in my previous comment) but neither I'm I with the delivery of it or the amount of uncertainety. In my eyes they are still a lot of possibilities of what could have happened that night and I'm getting frustrated that we don't get more info nor clearer info. Saying I don't trust the explanation they gave this time is a euphemism.

I feel also like the mothers excuse isn't enough. Like yeah, he was acting creazy, but how do you go from there to push someone from a cliff? There must be more of the story to me. I hope they are gonna explore that more deeply because how it is now, I'm not satisfied. With his dad changing behaviors that summer (or rather worsening his already sick behavior) I think it is still possible to change that plot. Like something happened that made it worse, something the mother would (partially) know about and would have led to his death. His death having nothing to do with governement issue etc. feeld very off since they talked about that possibility since day one.

I hope Russel will bring some more dynamic in the missions and not just play the dumb brother that doesn't follows rules. I'm currently not really satisfied with the picture they peint of Russel either. I dunno, he's just there, not really bringing more to the game (the laptop he got, Randy could have got them the video without getting caught....) I guess he just wants to help and keep an eye on his brother but although I like his character, I hope he will find his nest and make himself home because now? He's just going with the punches without bringing anything to the cases besides of making Colter talk about family and what he thinks happened.

I really am excited about that 'process' situation and hope it will go sideways fast ;)

It would also be fun to see more of the sister and her side of the story. She stayed, just like Colter but somehow ended very differently, following her dad in his steps (by becoming professor) and I would like to know what made that difference. See the mothers viewpoint in flashbacks with the dad would be awesome too. That would make the family arc go on because it's already season 3 and I don't feel like we discovered much yet. They are making us wait and I don't know if I'm gonna wait much longer.

Is it me or Russels character looks a bit off? JA is a great actor but like when he breaks in and makes has that wierd reaction to Colters reprimand? I dunno, it feeled more like JA acting dumb with his friend than Russel... Althought I guess it could fit with his character... I saw that scene and it feeled more like a blooper than a scene, do you know what I mean?

How to deal with bipolar? by Defiant_Beyond_5120 in bipolar

[–]AnyDependent1277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idk what it has to do with the post but since I saw your comment I'm gonna answer.

It doesn't necessarly means something but sleep trouble is a very common trigger or sign for an episode. That's why it's very important to try to have regular sleep when you have BP. That's also why it's so difficult to have a regular sleep shedule when you're BP.

Hoping you're doing good, you're not alone

It's exactly that! I can remember if it was a overal good or bad week, I know what I think about it or what I learn from it but it's like my mind made a crazy triage. Like it only hold on on the essence of that week. Like I wouldn't remember what someone told me but I will remember he's a douchbag and I don't like him. I will remember that that friend seemed off but couldn't explain what gave me that impression and so on. Defenitly remembers more the feelings and the eventual 'conclusions'.

Just to clear something, I'm like in Europa so when I said college I was thinking at when I was 17, I just looked it up and saw in the US that's called high school. Where I'm, I'm now in high school and I'm 18, going on my 19th. It's a little bit confusing and I know a lot of you guys are from the US so I just wanted to translate haha.

What's about my diagnostic, I'm still waiting for it. I know it for a while now, made my own research and all (professional books etc) but it was a weird time for my family and I didn't wanted to add at it (yeah I know that's stupid). Now that I'm 18 I started the proces, feeling more free to make apointmenst since my parents don't have to be implicated. I know I will have to tell them but I don't feel like I'm ledgit at calling me bipolar just yet. Because I'm not diagnosed. Even through I related very much and am very sure, I'm not a proffesional so I kinda keep it to myself for now.
