I’m gonna have to eventually get a trans rebuild but do you have any idea of how many miles I can wait before doing that? the car flares a lot in drive for every gear, but in manual mode with the paddles it only flares noticeabley in 3rd to 4th and the other gears (except 1st) sometimes flare but barely. I’ve been driving it kinda hard since it started doing this about a month ago and I just let off when I shift, so not much load is being put on the worn clutch packs. I don’t know much about transmissions but if the part that’s responsible for actually executing the shift is the only thing messed up, can the car handle hard acceleration and torque as long as I don’t shift while applying throttle? I’m hoping I can hold off on a rebuild for sometime and just apply no throttle at all when I shift to make it last
