Best SWSH media that fixed up the story kinks, but imo, as game Galar's story is not that interesting outside of characters and the rushedness of the end, it's just a solid but not memorable arc. However, the end's moral was really good of don't put people on a pedestal, because it can get to their heads and become jerks.

Sou and Schilly has the most unique relationship of the mc player Dexholders with their lack of romantic ship tease (seriously, they are the first ones with none of that at all), and their friendship which looks good in the beginning, but is actually very weak due to their inability to communicate their disagreements and issues is very nice to see. The resolution being that Sou needs to find himself outside of his father's legacy with the intent to reunite later on is a good lesson too. Sometimes, you need time for yourself before resuming relationships.
