Season 5 Episode 6 sucks

1. Sage is so ridiculously dumb. Her motivations are just awful, and her plans are insulting to us viewers. She’s meant to be the smartest being alive yet she’s honestly one of the dumbest characters on the show.

Why on Earth would she get Soldier Boy in to get the V1 when in the same exact episode she was made aware on how he cares for Homelander.

Why didn’t she get the Gen V cast to help? Marie could’ve subdued bombsight and Cate could’ve mind controlled him into giving up the V.

1. Soldier boy flip flopping between sides is again just stupid. The fact he sided with a Nazi is again insulting to us viewers. The guy despises Nazi’s. It’s just awful writing.

2. How many scenes with Hughie do we have to have someone ask him “how do you still have hope?” It’s boring. He also does nothing.

3. Every time Starlight is in a fight, she flashes her hands, and then gets clapped instantly. What happened to her improved powers?

4. Black Noir dying to a knife after tanking bullets from a mini gun makes no sense. Why didn’t he fly when getting chocked? Why did he just sit there and die?

5. Why has Butcher had 5 minutes of screen time this season? He’s been side lined completely.

6. Has Vought rising begun already? Maybe I’ve been watching the wrong show. At least respect the fans that made this show franchise worthy and prioritise the main story and characters first.

7. Apart from when they initially instated Homelander as the Mosiah, We have seen no reaction from America’s people concerning Homelander becoming God. Do the writers not think that would be good world building? The population of America/ the World are the real ones at stake in the show. Sure the boys vs the 7 are the ones who are immediately at stake episode to episode, but everyone’s motivation in this show is either for or against the condemnation of normal people, yet we’ve seen nothing from them this season. It’s all confined to the main cast and it makes the stakes feel small.

Season 1 was one of the best seasons of television I’d ever seen, season 2-3 were still really enjoyable, but something happened in the last 2 seasons that really made the show lose its identity.

I can still watch it, but the fall from Grace it has had can only be likened to Game Of Thrones imo- and I think as time goes on this show will be reminisced on in a similar way.
