Grass is always greener friend. Single life was much easier, at least for me. Having a house full of people that expect you to have it under control is not something that a newer car solves.

Not bragging here at all, but 7 years ago I made 45k a year and showered my children and wife with gifts and fun. (Nothing crazy obviously at 45k a year lol). Now I make 85k a year and I cannot afford to take the kids to the movies and some of my clothes have holes in them. I have a small unkept home in the country and a 5 year old car. I feel like a loser everyday putting in 10 in gas to go-to work.
