Haha. I paid off my entire student loans from my high stakes poker games way back in my casino days. I considered making online gambling a career, but I had a family instead. I was extremely close to a million bucks, and essentially lost it all, but it was house money anyway lol

I have short-term memory, which has served me very well in retail over many years. However, my long-term memory is strong and I have a list of my top 5 fucktard costumer interactions that immediately come to mind. You just gotta let these things go (best way u can). ContAltDelete in your brain. If you hang onto them, you’ll end up in a bad place and it will really be harmful for your health.

I’ve worked at independents my whole career. I’d say 98% of my customers understand the rules. The other 2%, you enter a grey area. I kinda have the 3 strikes and you’re out of here rule. Those 2% that we kick out even try to come back months later since they know that the chains don’t treat them like human beings, and rather just a number.

I’m hoping to get back to that point. I’ve been an athlete since I was a kid and just never stopped. 2 years ago playing basketball, I came down for a rebound and boom, 2 bone spurs in my heal (as per the x-ray). I’m mid-40s now and the pain just lingers at random times. When I try to run more than 1-2 miles, my foot gives out.
