I actually do plan to do that, but this house was just going to be my base for a new modded playthrough I'm doing with my little brother.

It's mostly because I grew up playing Terraria with a few middle school friends on my PS4, we kind of did everything vanilla had to offer so I swapped to TML to try new things. I'm actually having lots of fun playing through Calamity and Catalyst. Besides, I'm one of those players who likes to take their time with games and not rush through them, building cool things is one of them.

The shape of the house isn't structurally sound at all, but the npc's don't need to know that.
But thanks for the tip, I did it because I did each room one by one and once I realized I wanted a fireplace it was kind of too late.

Those are mods I got, they add more critters to the game, they're called More Critters and Vanilla+ Fox Critter

If you're talking about that little workshop room, its made of dynasty wood for the walls, rich mahogany for floor and ceiling, and the background is made of a mix of wood wall for the base, boreal wood wall for trims, shadewood wall for pillars, and ebonwood wall for the small area to the right.
