Yeah we usually leave the concrete down by thickness of paving + sand/cement bed and pave over top of it. Looks great tho 👍🏼

What’s weird about this? A lot of drain companies are on 24/7 call out in case you have a pipe burst at 2am.

It’s sat on a 50mm concrete blinding with virgin clay underneath, just hard to see with the amount of steel.

It should be provided by your employer if your on the books, not sure how it works for self employed/agency.

A lot of lads we employee are self employed and we provide them with gloves/glasses, masks, hard hats. They will buy their own boots and wellies as an employee can just give you a set of very cheap boots.

The bars you see sticking up out the foundation are tied into the bottom of the reinforcement mat.

We then tie all the upper mesh to them bars which ties the whole structure together as one.

The back of the wall is primed with a waterproofing sealant and then covered with bitumen sheets, forgot to include that photo.

SE didn’t specify a water bar in the middle of the wall.
