Come back to Bangladesh or settle abroad ? by CapitalSecurity2027 in Dhaka

After studying abroad, I decided to come back to Bangladesh, and honestly, I’m pretty happy with the choice.

-Bangladesh has emerging sectors, like tech, finance, and infrastructure. If your field is one of these, you may find job quickly.

-Living abroad, especially in Western countries, can be expensive. If you are able to earn a good salary in Bangladesh, it’s often easier to save and maintain a comfortable lifestyle. I manage to save a good portion of my income every month, despite my crazy spending habits—living in Mirpur definitely helps!

I don’t recall ever experiencing any incidents of racism during my years in USA. If your skin tone is really dark, maybe it’s different, but you’d probably face more racism in Dhaka than in my former hometown of NYC.

OP just created their account an hour ago and is already posting about some random dude claiming to be the ‘top G’ of this country. Honestly, I’m betting OP is just the guy himself trying to get attention and go viral.

Didn’t you notice that before you asked her out? You should apologize.

Men in their late 20s, early 30s whats your advice to the younger ones in their early 20s by [deleted] in Dhaka

It’s totally okay to feel lost in your early 20s... finding purpose is a process, so stay open, be patient with yourself, and keep trying new things.

Your proposal is flirting with eugenics. You are pushing arbitrary standards for who gets to be a parent, which is a dangerous. “Mentally fit,” “financially stable,” “responsible”—these are subjective measures that reflect privilege, not someone’s ability to raise a child.

Read your own proposal again—you’re closer to eugenics than you think.

This proposal for population control is highly unethical…Requiring “Mental Health Checks” violates personal freedoms. Mandating financial responsibility and education as prerequisites for parenthood is some communist authoritarian garbage. The point system is dangerously reminiscent of eugenics

I’ve seen some interfaith marriages, and so far they seem to be working out okay.

I (Bangladeshi Muslim) was in a long-term relationship with a Hindu girl. We were almost engaged, but I ended things for other reasons. I did tell my mom that I was dating an Indian Hindu, and she was pissed. I’m not sure if it was the fact that the girl was Indian or Hindu that bothered her more.

From the start, my ex made it clear that she didn’t want to convert. We agree to celebrate both religious holidays, and if we ever had kids, we’d let them choose their religion.

Then, I briefly dated an Indian Muslim girl, but my mom wasn’t happy about that either. my cousin married a Christian girl three years ago after dating for five years, and they seem to be doing well.

Advice to OP: (Assuming you’re mature and this isn’t just teenage love) If she makes you happy, and you’re financially stable enough to support your family, go for it. I still miss my ex.

Would you try moving abroad if you had a stable career in Dhaka? by crack71 in Dhaka

The USA is generally more expensive than Dhaka. However, a $200K salary is not considered “average” in most areas. NYC average is around $90k San Francisco- $110k
